This First Friday Watercore Taproom hosts Malachi Castillote, a gifted young artist who has dabbled in several art styles but is most well know for his remarkable graffiti style canvases. Malachi was given a terminal diagnosis of Batten’s Disease CLN2 but has not stopped creating striking and compelling works of art. Through aerosol expressionism Malachi has achieved meaningful success with art displayed and sold in the Seatle Children’s Institute and Black Lab/Bar Gallery in Everett. February is rare disease month and so it is fitting to show Malachi’s work thought the month. Malachi will be at Watercore from 6-8pm to connect with people interested in his works. Live music will be provided by DJs Sutl and Crooked Fingers for a chill, relaxed vibe. Watercore will have food and drinks available for purchase all evening. Free admission. February 6th, 6-8pm at Watercore Taproom located at 19A N Wenatchee Avenue.
