Norwood x Upsidedown Grenache Release
ntroducing the 2023 Norwood x Upsidedown Grenache — Our First-Ever Collaboration Wine!
We’re beyond thrilled to finally share something that’s been in the works for years — the release of our very first collaboration wine with our longtime friends at @upsidedownwine !
Say hello to the 2023 Norwood x Upsidedown Grenache — a light, vibrant, and incredibly drinkable take on one of our absolute favorite varietals. It’s a wine that not only reflects our shared passion for Grenache but also brings things full circle: Upsidedown’s Gold Drop Grenache was the bottle that first made us fall in love with this grape. So it feels just right that this special project would start there.
Join us for the official release on Friday, August 1st at Norwood, kicking off at 4 PM as part of @wenatcheefirstfridays ! We’ll be pouring by the glass, offering tasting pours, and of course, bottles will be available to purchase — with special bulk discounts if you want to stock up.
Save the date and come celebrate this milestone with us. More details coming soon!

Hot August Nights
Hot August Nights
Presents Dirty Rotten Scoundrels
Directed by Christina Capehart | Produced by Jaime Donegan
Book by Jeffrey Lane | Music & Lyrics by David Yazbek
August 1-2, 6-9, 13 -16 at 7:30 pm
Matinees: August 9 & 16 at 1:30 pm
Based on the film "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels"
written by Dale Launer and Stanley Shapiro & Paul Henning
Original Broadway production directed by Jack O'Brien
Two con men, a beautiful woman and the elite of the French Riviera collide in this sexy and irreverent farce.
Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, based on the popular 1988 MGM film, takes us to the French Riviera for high jinks and hilarity. Sophisticated, suave with a good dash of mischief, this hysterical comedy features a delightfully jazzy score by David Yazbek (The Full Monty) and was nominated for a staggering eleven Tony Awards.
Lawrence Jameson makes his lavish living by talking rich ladies out of their money. Freddy Benson more humbly swindles women by waking their compassion with fabricated stories about his grandmother's failing health. After meeting on a train, they attempt to work together, only to find that this small French town isn't big enough for the two of them. They agree on a settlement: the first one to extract $50,000 from a young female target, heiress, Christine Colgate, wins, and the other must leave town. A hilarious battle of cons ensues that will keep audiences laughing, humming and guessing to the end!

Originally starting out as covers of their favorite bands like Rage Against the Machine, Tool, Soundgarden, and Black Sabbath, the group has also released five recorded albums featuring Sophia Urista on vocals, as well as Liza Colby, Michael Cunio, Samuel Hope, and others. The electric mix of curated seminal heavy rock songs plus original music brings audiences together around the world. From Copenhagen to Cologne, Manchester to Milan, New York to LA, Brass Against is playing the songs that audiences grew up with–and keeping fans enthralled
throughout the whole set.
Since its inception, Brass Against has had the goal of creating music that resonates with people’s emotions and encourages them to act. The music itself is edgy and empowering, but it’s also about escapism from the chaos and turmoil of everyday life, especially as life imitates some of the same patterns that prompted the band’s founding. Shows regularly include calls to
love, understanding and peace through mindfulness.
Rage. Energy. Motivation. Community. Acceptance…Brass Against is providing the sound of the times…and a magnetic soundtrack to daily life.

Join Grammy-nominated artist and body positivity advocate Mary Lambert for an empowering workshop on self-love and authenticity. Best known for her collaboration on Macklemore & Ryan Lewis's “Same Love” and her body-positive anthem “Body Love,” Mary’s music and activism have made her a leading voice in promoting radical self-acceptance. Her Gold-certified single “Secrets” topped the Billboard Dance charts, solidifying her genre-defying career.
This workshop, open to everyone (with a special deal for teens and those experiencing financial barriers), offers tools for overcoming body shame, building self-worth, and embracing vulnerability. Mary’s personal journey of art and healing will inspire participants to step into their authentic selves. Through music, storytelling, and creative expression, attendees will gain the confidence to stand up to negativity and support their own unique voices.
Core Learning Principles
The workshop centers on promoting body acceptance through an anti-diet framework, addressing weight stigma, and encouraging radical self-love, mindfulness, and unlearning harmful habits related to food, exercise, and body image.
A Note from Mary
"I've spent a decade on my body-positive journey, evolving from self-hatred to fat liberation and radical self-love. While the path isn’t always linear, waking up free from body shame has been life-changing. I want to share what I’ve learned as a fat person in the public eye, along with insights from activists and scholars who inspired me. You deserve to wake up every day, call yourself a babe, and truly believe it. – Love, Mary"
Cost
Tickets are a $65 value, with 100 free tickets for teens and those with financial barriers. Please use the code “Babe” at checkout for a free ticket. All other tickets are $10, with a percentage of ticket sales going to Wenatchee and Chelan Pride.

BIO:
Over 25 years in comedy, Gary Gulman has established himself as an eminent performer and peerless writer.
A product of Boston, Gulman has been a scholarship college football player, an accountant, and a high school teacher. He has made countless television appearances as both a comedian and an actor. Gulman has made five masterful TV specials including his most recent stand-up special, “Born on 3rd Base”, which premiered December 21st on MAX.
His previous, universally acclaimed special for HBO was “The Great Depresh”, a tour de force look at mental illness, which is equal parts hilarious and inspiring. In 2019, he appeared in the international blockbuster “Joker”. He can most recently be seen co-starring with Amy Schumer in the hit Hulu comedy series, “Life & Beth”.
Gary's first book published by Flatiron Books is titled “Misfit: Growing Up Awkward in the '80s”, a memoir based on his life from Kindergarten through twelfth grade. It was released in September of 2023. Amy Schumer called the book “laugh out loud funny and heartfelt” and MacArthur Fellowship recipient Adrian Nicole LeBlanc found it “exquisite, love-affirming and generous”.
Today, Gulman is one of the most popular touring comics, selling out theaters around the country including the prestigious Carnegie Hall in New York City. Gary's current tour “Misfit: A Gary Gulman Stand Up & Book Tour” features material based on his book, but not a repeat of the book.
Gary lives in Harlem with his wife.
